Workforce Solutions Deep East Texas is proud to recognize Provalus for being named the 2025 Veteran-Friendly Employer of the Year for Deep East Texas. Provalus was proudly nominated by WSDET and accepted the award at WSDET's November 2025 board meeting.

The award recognizes Provalus’ innovative efforts to recruit, hire, and retain veterans as an important part of its workforce. Founded in 2017, Provalus provides IT and Business Process Outsourcing services to help companies with their technology needs. It offers a variety of services, including customer experience solutions, cloud and infrastructure management, data analytics, cybersecurity, and application development. A key part of their mission is creating technology jobs in rural American communities by hiring and training local talent, including veterans, and bringing IT services back to the U.S. instead of outsourcing overseas. One hundred percent of the company's operations are U.S. based. Additionally, to support veterans and their families, Provalus builds its technology delivery centers near military installations, allowing service members to stay connected to their communities and VA services.

To be eligible for this award, a private-sector employer whose efforts to recruit and hire veterans must have had a significant effect on veterans in the local workforce development area and across the state. The employer must also be a customer of the Texas workforce system and have used innovative approaches to attract and positively affect current and future veterans. Additionally, at least 10 percent of the nominated employer’s workforce must be comprised of veterans. Currently, 11.9% of their employees are Veterans.

Provalus’ commitment to veteran employment has earned multiple national recognitions including:

  • In 2021, the company was designated a Military Friendly® Employer.
  • In 2021, Provalus received the PLATINUM HIRE Vets Medallion Award from U.S. Secretary of Labor Martin J. Walsh, as one of only 849 recipients nationwide.
  • In 2024, the company received a GOLD Medallion Award for large employers.
  • Additional recognition includes being named a:
    • Bronze-level Military Friendly® Employer
    • Military Friendly® Company
    • Military Friendly® Spouse Employer
    • Military Friendly® Brand
    • Military Friendly® Supplier Diversity Program

In 2022, Provalus was honored as the Veteran-Friendly Employer of the Year by the Texas Workforce Commission.

Provalus has proudly partnered with Workforce Solutions Deep East Texas since the opening of its Jasper facility, utilizing WorkInTexas.com and conducting hiring events in the Workforce Solutions office in Jasper to recruit local talent. Building on its success in Jasper, Provalus also has operations in Henderson, TX, and, in June of 2025, they opened a third Texas facility in Crockett, where Workforce Solutions Deep East Texas assisted them with hiring events in its Crockett office. Over the last year, Workforce Solutions Deep East Texas has posted positions to help grow their company.

In addition, Provalus has supported regional workforce development by participating in the Deep East Texas Teacher Externship Program in both 2021 and 2025, helping educators connect classroom learning to real-world industry practices.

In 2022, the Texas Workforce Commission recognized Provalus as the Veteran-Friendly Employer of the Year, highlighting its outstanding efforts in supporting veterans and strengthening the local economy.

We are truly grateful for the work this company has put into revitalizing rural American communities while serving our Veterans and other local efforts. Workforce Solutions Deep East Texas Executive Director Ty Cauthen said, “It is because of employers like Provalus and their mission to provide opportunities for Veterans across Deep East Texas that make our region truly special.”

Thank you, Provalus!
