TWC Awards JET Grant to Coldspring-Oakhurst Consolidated Independent School District - October 19, 2022
Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) Commissioner of Labor Julian Alvarez awarded a Jobs and Education for Texans (JET) grant to Coldspring-Oakhurst Consolidated Independent School District.
The $189,316 grant funded equipment to train students in high demand welding careers. The district expects 79 students to earn their welding certifications before they graduate. Visit the TWC webpage to learn more about the JET Grant Program.
