DETCOG Launches Broadband Surveys to Improve Internet Access in Deep East Texas

The Deep East Texas Council of Governments (DETCOG) has launched a Broadband Assessment and Action Plan to help improve internet access across the 12-county Deep East Texas region. As part of this effort, DETCOG is inviting both residents and businesses to complete short online surveys to share their broadband needs, challenges, and experiences.
Reliable internet service is essential for education, health care, business growth, and everyday life. However, many areas in Deep East Texas continue to face barriers to connectivity. The survey responses will provide critical information to guide strategies for expanding and strengthening broadband service throughout the region.
